World Fantasy Games – Bringing Sports Buff’s History and Success Global

World Fantasy Games (WFG) is an experienced fantasy sports industry leader with entertaining games and integrated marketing solutions to help your web site or brand connect with the engaged fantasy sports consumer. WFG is a leader in innovation, launching RapidDraft™ Fantasy Football with USA TODAY in 2009. RapidDraft is the first single user fantasy draft game in the industry, combining a virtual world look and feel with a true fantasy football experience.

WFG creates fantasy sports games and web sites for brands and corporations worldwide. WFG’s game expertise and its robust, multi-language B2B Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) solution are a perfect combination for businesses looking to operate fantasy sports games for profit or promotion. Experience counts when you want the best solution at the best price. And game selection and design are keys. Many styles of games or “fantasy sports brand categories” exist today. And the same style doesn’t work for everyone. Match your goals and your marketing plan with the correct style of game or league and you have a winner. Pick the wrong game and your venture will feel the impact. Many companies have invested heavily in the fantasy sports industry, only to go bankrupt after making selecting the wrong game, concept, or business model.

Jeffrey Thomas, Founder and CEO of WFG, launched Sports Buff Fantasy Sports in 1993. He is recognized as a Fantasy Sports Business expert and is a frequent domestic and international speaker on the topic of fantasy sports. Mr. Thomas was the president of the Fantasy Sports Trade Association (FSTA) from 2006 to 2009, the voice of the fantasy sports industry. He is contacted frequently by corporations and journalists for guidance and opinion, including recent interviews by the Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur Magazine, Business Week, NY Times, Reuters, AP, CNBC, ABC and Bloomberg.

Since 1993, World Fantasy Games and its subsidiaries have operated games for more than 300 web, brand, and media partners including USA TODAY, Coors Light, the U.S. Military, Chicago Tribune, Charlotte Observer, Taco Bell, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Prime Sports, Minneapolis Star Tribune, Miller Lite, Oakland Tribune, Bergen Record, South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Sacramento Bee and more. They have processed more than three million entries. And have paid more than $4 million in prizes.

We deliver results by helping you get to market quickly with an affiliate, white label, or custom solution. Whatever fits your situation, budget, and goals, we are available to ensure that you make the right decision and design and execute the right plan.

WFG currently operates company-owned web sites RapidDraft.com , SportsBuff.com , FantasySportsBusiness.com , GetYourOwnFantasy.com and a global network of affiliate, white label, and partner sites called the World Fantasy Games Network.

World Fantasy Games is headquartered in majestic Kenosha, Wisconsin USA.

Kenosha, situated on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan and at the mid-point of the Chicago-Milwaukee metropolitan area, has grown to be the third largest city in the state of Wisconsin. Often called the northernmost suburb of Chicago, many residents commute to downtown Chicago and the suburbs daily. From a sports perspective, residents enjoy battling over whether the Cubs or the Brewers are #1 in the NL Central. Or whether the Packers or Bears will head to the playoffs for the NFC North.

Besides being the corporate headquarters of World Fantasy Games, many large corporations are either headquartered here or have significant influence on the area including Jockey, Snap-On, Ocean Spray, Rustoleum, and Chrysler. Many employees from S.C. Johnson of Racine and Abbott Laboratories of Waukegan call Kenosha home.

Proud of its heritage. Kenosha was founded by successive waves of English, German, Scandanavian, Irish, Italian and Eastern European immigrants. Thus, its culinary insitutions are quite diverse. It celebrates its heritage and diversity often with local festivals and communication with a long list of international sister cities including Douai, France; Wolfenbuttel, Germany; Cosenza, Italy; and Quezon City, Philippines. Kenosha loves to follow its famous sons and daughters. A long list of Kenoshans have done very well after the area influenced, educated and motivated them, including Heisman Trophy winner Alan Ameche, actor Don Ameche, former MLB pitcher and player Dick Bosman, comedian Jeff Cesario, NBA guard Nick Van Exel, actor Al Molinaro, actor Mark Ruffalo, actor Daniel J. Travanti, actor and director Orson Welles, and our own Coach B. (see photos at right).

When the Food Network went searching for a classic diner/dive in Southeastern Wisconsin, they didn't have to look any further than directly east of the WFG world headquarters. Our neighbors, Frank's Diner, and their garbage plate were featured on Food Network’s popular “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives” television series. The exposure from the series has resulted in a steady stream of travelers keeping the area busy, just to stop in for a unique breakfast in the historic 1920’s diner car now called Frank’s Diner (pictured below). The popularity often results in long lines, but the wait is worth it. Portions are huge (a half garbage plate is plenty!) and prices are reasonable.

Locals also recommend hidden gems like The Spot drive-in for a great burger and root beer float, and Mangia Tratorria for excellent gourmet Italian food just as good as restaurants twice the price in downtown Chicago.
